I installed the Workforce app. I tried logging in with myGov. I usually log in with my Digital Identity but there is no option for that on the Workforce App. So I tried to log in regardless by using the forgotten password option and managed to lock my myGov account. It said to check back in 2 hours as it was temporarily locked. But to no avail. It's now more than 12 hours later and it still appears to be temporarily locked. Can you help?


I checked other answers on this community forum, but nothing has fixed it and the phone lines are currently closed. So wanted to see if there were any solutions that have been discovered.

Is this what you mean - Workforce Australia? When you select sign in/register it should give you the myGovID/digital identity option below the myGov details. I'm using a PC and can see it, if you're on your phone that might be why you're not seeing it for some reason.


If your myGov is temporarily locked it can be permanently locked if you get your details wrong too many times. The myGov site has info about lock outs.


An option for you is to try access the site via the website above instead of the app and see if you can use myGovID.
