Would I be able to get a deferral for lodgement at the ATO seeing that I have not received my Medicare Entitlement Statement which I applied for 13 June already. I have phoned them multiple times and they say they are inundated with applications at this time

If you lodge via an agent they'd be able to request a deferral for you. Otherwise you'll need to get in contact with our lodgment area to discuss your situation and they can see what they can do.
