I left Australia permanently in October 2023 and have made income after July 1st 2023. I did not lodge an early tax return when I left, and thus need to lodge it now before October 31st. Since I don't reside in Australia I don't have the same phone number to gain access to MyGov. I've tried signing into my digital govID, but I've never been able to receive the verification codes sent to my email, they simply do not ever arrive. I cannot create a new digital ID since I don't have a valid visa anymore, so I'm really out of options I can think of.

It would be awesome if someone could give me advice on how to move forward from here.

All the best,

Sam

Hi there @sdv

No need to worry you have other options to lodge!

If you can't lodge your tax return online you can try lodging with a registered tax agent or by paper.
