I am a Guardian and Administrator (appointed by SACAT) for my mother who no longer has capacity to deal with her legal and financial affairs, and am required to lodge an income tax return on her behalf. How do I do this online?
Easiest way to lodge is through a tax agent. Make sure you take any paperwork authorising you to sign on her behalf. If she is entitled to a refund some agents take their fee from the refund.
