I couldn't log into my old MyGov account as I've left Australia and I'm not using my AU number any more. After I created a new myGov accound and tried to link it to ATO, I found that the only information I can provide is my bank accound details and TFN number, which means that I don't have enough information. They used to allow that we use our superannuation account but it's not allowed any more!!! The deadline for lodging is coming close so what should I do???? Please help!!!!

Hi @Chels_Alex,


If you're unable to answer 2 questions about your tax records to be able to link to ATO.


You will need to speak to us for a linking code. The only issue is we would need to verify an identity document such as an Australian drivers' licence, Medicare card or Australian or Foreign passport. If you're no longer in Australia, your foreign passport may not be able to be verified.


Alternatively, you will need to lodge by paper, and you may be eligible to ask for more time to lodge. There's more information on our if you can't lodge or pay on time page.
