Hello, I am a primary producer. I grow my own produce and sell direct to the end user. For example, I produce grain and hay and sell direct to clients who then feed it to their stock. When I invoice the client, they pay for both the produce and the cost to have the produce freighted to their farm. My question is, is the freight component considered 'primary production income', given we are freighting our own produce to the buyer? Or is it 'non-primary production income'? I am getting conflicting advice. Thank you.
