We have an old employee that resigned after only 1 week of employment. During their onboarding they selected the super fund nominated by the employer however never accepted the request to activate their account. We have made numerous attempts to contact this employee to obtain their new details or accept the activation request. We urgently need to pay their superannuation however, have had no success in contacting the employee.

What do we do in this instance?

Hey @HRTeam,

What you'll need to do is use their 'Staple fund. This is an existing fund, that's linked to the individual, so it goes with them wherever they go!

You, as the employer, are able to request their staple fund, by following this guide. (it's easy!)
