I need to change my trading name on ABR as it is listing an old business and not my actuall business name. This causes some confusion when applying online for various things using my ABN.

I totally understand how this can be confusing.
Originally trading names were going to be removed in November 2023, however the date has been extended to 31 October 2025.
It's not possible at this stage to update your trading name. You've the option to register a business name with ASIC. This'll appear on ABN Lookup.
