Since accruing my HELP debt at university, I was diagnosed with a health condition that has me on a disability support pension. This will be long term and I will never be able to earn enough to pass the HELP debt payment threshold. I need to know the best way to arrange getting this debt waived and any details about the process.

If you are unable to continue your studies due to an illness, you can request to have your HECS cancelled under special circumstances.
