Hi There


Just wondering whether the new Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme (10cents) is an income taxable item?Especially if it is for a busienss which runs a restaurant and could have many bottles. I have confirmation from Victoria goverment that it is GST free, but I am just wondering what about income tax? Thank you.

If bottles were claimed as an expense, then any recovery would be income.


Like a plumber selling scrap copper.
