You are correct if you have obtained a Medicare entitlement statement then you can lodge an amendment to correct any incorrectly reported amounts. The main thing to do is to obtain the Medicare entitlement statement first as this can take a period of time to process. Also it will be your evidence to show us if we require proof of your claim.
