An initial redundancy package was renegotiated between the parties to include an addition Superannuation payment and a small ex gratia payment to the redundant employee. is the figure quoted in the case of the Superannuation taxed by the employer before it is paid into the Super Fund , or just taxed at 15% in the Super Fund . For example an agreed figure of $30k , would be paid into the Super Fund , and then taxed at 15 % is that correct ?Not taxed then paid into the fund . Where as the ex gratia payment would be taxed then paid out .
