I'm from Sri Lanka and got offered an independent contractor role to offer software development services to an Australia based company.


Also, the company asked me to fill a form called 'Statement by a supplier' during the initial payment.


I would like to know whether I'm bound to pay taxes to Australian GOV for my australian sourced income?


Please note that I'm already paying taxes in Sri Lanka for my income as a Sri Lankan citizen and resident.
