Hi experts,


I purchased land and have owned it for over 3 years, our house build started during covid, therefore major delays, and has recently been completed (August 2023) and we have the keys.

With regards to CGT, which date does the 12 months of ownership start from?


Hoping you can advise.

If it is not for main residence, then contract date for land.
