Is any portion of the daily electricity supply charge deductible when using the actual cost method to calculate claimable working from home expenses, or only the usage fee?

Thanks!

Hello @Cwood95,

You are correct you can claim electricity costs when using the actual cost method. However you will need to apportion to claim only the business use vs the personal use. We suggest that when you work this out you keep a copy of your calculations in case your are asked to explain it in the future.
