I have recently received a redundancy package from my employer. One of the termination payments which were taxed is known as an "PAYG on ETP-Type O". I am told this is for the notice in lieu payment i received.
What is the current rate of tax for notice in lieu if my termination of employment is due to a genuine redundancy?
Is it 32% as a flat rate or does it vary?
Any advice will be appreciated.
