Hi,
I have just started working and they said to pay me I need to send them an invoice with my ABN. I set up ABN up a couple of months ago for a different profession and now cannot seem to access or change my details. I have a few questions:
- Do I need to change my profession on my ABN?
- How do I change or even just access the details as it won't let me use GovID to verify my details because I am not an AUS citizen and my medicare details haven't come through (it has been over a month and they say explicitly not to follow up)?
- How does it work with the money being paid to an ABN? How do I access this money, do I need to provide my bank details on the invoice as well or do I need to add bank details to my ABN to forward the money to me?
I am very confused about how using an ABN works and have spent days trying to figure it out and so this is a final call for help!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
