I recently started my own company and have been using my personal money to cover the fees, such as government fees, insurance and website costs associated with starting the business. Am I able to claim these or have my company reimburse me and they claim it?

Hi @Anthony460

Yes! It depends how you work it out. By using your personal money, it can be looked at as a loan from you to your company. It would be best to document these type of things. Your company's expenses may be claimable under the small business startup provisions.

Check out our further info on Setting up or ceasing a business.
