I am a sole trader in medical profession however I employ someone as an admin assistant. Can that employee run a novated car lease through me? They are paid on casual basis, PAYG.

I can't see why not, but I'd advise to do some research first. ๐
When we look at car leasing, if the vehicle is used by the employee for private use, then FBT would apply.
Novated leases are generally done under a salary sacrifice arrangement.
