I leased out my property in Oct 2016 after living there for two years as primary residence. It is now being sold. I have done extensive online search, and found out the sold price of another apartment in the same building in Oct 2016. My apartment and this sold apartment has the same number of bedroom and bathroom and car park space. Other apartments sold around that time had similar sold prices . Can I use the sold price of the apartment sold in Oct 2016 as the market value of my apartment in Oct 2016 and save the online search as evidence /reference? Or do I have to get it done from real estate agent or valuer?

Hi @cty2000,

When you sell your property, you may be asked to provide supporting documents to show the value the property was at that time. The best way to have that supporting evidence is to use a professional valuer.
