Hi there. Hope this message finds you well.


I'm a professional athlete and I was in Australia do compete in the World Tour of my sport.


I was instructed to reactivate my ABN. I've applied to reactivate it and I was directed to send documents and complementary information to satisfy the identity requirements.


I would like to know if everything is ok with my request, how it's been progressing, or if more information is needed.


Where can I found more information? I've tried calling several times, but have been unsuccessful.

It depends if we've got all the info, we need to reactivate it. It can generally take up to 28 days if we need to manually process an application. If there are any issues, we will make contact with you, and it will come from a private number.


You're doing the right thing by getting in touch with us to follow up.

Hi @italoferreira,


The easiest way to see if your ABN application has been processed is to check the ABN lookup.


If you've had to send in POI documents, they will reach out if there have been any issues with the application. 😊

Hi there, thank you for the response.


I've check in the ABN Lookup, but my ABN is still showing up as "cancelled", and I did send in my POI documents when I've re-apply to reactivate in middle March, but I still didn't got any response yet, nobody reach out to me. Does it take that long?


Also, how do I know if everything is ok or more information is needed? I'm reaching out to the provided phone in the website (Outside Australia: + 61 2 [Removed by moderator]) but they put me in some waiting line for almost an hour and nothing.
