We have 2 directors in the business. They bought phone using business money. The phone is used more than 60% for business use and about 40% for personal use. How do I keep the record in the accounting system? Do they have to pay the 40% cost of the phone to the business, or the phone belongs to the business now? Thank You.

Hi @AshishMahato,
You'd only be able to claim the business proportion on the phone.
Check our page on mobile phone, mobile internet and other devices provides how to work out your business vs private use and how to keep records.
The business it belongs to and may be exempt from FBT.
