I tried to log in as usual to my business account on the ATO website. Without any advance communication from the ATO, I get a message saying there is no ABN linked to my account - which of course is not true as you cannot set up the account without one. When I try to register again, of course the promised emails from the ATO do not arrive because they refuse to accept my email address - unlike the rest of the world which accepts it. Why is it so difficult? What is wrong with sending an email to say you are changing the system - oops, you can't because you do not accepy my email address even though I used it to log in to the ATOP community.
Hi @paulvevers,
Have you changed devices? If you have you need to log in using the exact same email address you originally used and select, I'm an existing user. You'll then need to continue setting it up again by verifying your identity documents.
The only other time it will show as no ABN linked is if you were manually linked in the first place. A manual link will only last for 12 months so if it's expired then you may need to request a manual link again from us.
