Is the final date of employment the payment date on the employees most recent payslip, is it the last day they actually worked or is it the final day they gave in resignation letter?

example: An employee resigns after being on annual leave for a few weeks and doesn't return to work after the leave.

Hi @hrtk2008

The final date would be the end of the notice period.

So, for example, the effective date is the last day of employment that they serve at your organisation. The date on the termination letter.

I hope this helps. 😊
