I am a concrete employee on housing

Everyday, my job location is different, often beyond the realms of public transport where it is not practicable to walk with hand tools and lunch esky, where no kitchen is provided on new houses, in a new housing estates on the peripheral of what might be the metroplitan area where public transport is not yet available.

No public transport is available for my varied destination on most days.

It is obvious I cannot carry out my work without a car due to no means of public transport. This would deem essential that I need a car for my occupation.

Can I claim the proportionate use of my vehicle expenses on my income tax as a housing construction labourer going to different locations everyday where there is a high propensity of no available means of public transport to work?
