I was public officer for my employer and currently, we are in the process of (unfriendly) separation. Is there a way to extract the history of public officers for a company with start/end date of each person who held that role. This would be very useful as they claim that when I resigned as public officer I also resigned as employee as both are linked, which I and my layers believe is not correct. Thanks for any help.

These things can be tricky, especially if you're no longer working for your employer.
Unfortunately, there is no way to 'extract' you as a public officer and remove it from the record entirely. But you can be 'end-dated' as a public officer. Meaning you'll no longer be permitted to act on your employer's behalf in regard to ATO-related things.
It's super important that your employer appoints a new public officer as they'll be the primary contact of the business.

Thanks @BrookeATO for your feedback. I'm aware of the info shared. What I was looking for is a history of public officer appointments of a company with each person's start and end date. As a related example, On ASIC you can view company details and can see who was a director for the company with start and end date. Similar information re public officer is what I'm looking for.
