Hello, I was in Australia last year with the whv. I would like to redeem my superannuation but my last employer has not paid me super yet. I have opened an investigation at the ATO but next week it will be 6 months since my visa expired and my funds will pass to the ATO. How can I go about fully redeeming my funds?

Hello @Abrusco,

Once the 6 months has gone by you'll not be able to do a DASP claim. However you'll be able to do an ATO held super claim to get the super amounts still.

The investigation will most likely take sometime and then if we do find amounts outstanding can take some more time. That's because we have to negotiate with the employer to get them to make the payment of the outstanding super.
