Hello,

I am looking to open a business for Airbnb cohost, we don't own properties, we help landlords to manage their own Airbnb short term rentals, we organize cleaning and manage calendars, do I need an ABN? Do I need a property management license?

Can't answer the property management question. Not a tax related matter. With the ABN if you are establishing a business then you will be entitled to an ABN. An ABN is not compulsory however if any of your clients are another business then they would be required to withhold 47% tax. Link explains.

It is always advisable to have an ABN if you are establishing a business as it identifies your business with government departments and statutory authorities and individuals who use your services. All ABN's can be seen on the public register - ABN Lookup
