Hi i have been a nurse for a while but this tax year i transferred to doing occupational health and safety in the same hospital. Can i claim back my nursing registration fees and union fees still on tax?
You can claim nursing registration fees (AHPRA fees) as work-related expenses. Since you still work in healthcare and need your nursing registration for your job, you can deduct this expense.
Union fees are also tax-deductible for nurses and healthcare professionals. If you are a member of a relevant union and pay fees, you can claim these expenses.
