I'm 59 unemployed with no income at all and have been diagnosed with cancer. I start chemo in couple days than radiation treatment after 9 weeks of chemo I moved in with my daughter I have no money or my own car to get to treatment can I get access to my super to buy car and living expenses?
Hi @Poutama
Sorry to hear about the tough time you're going through.
Our compassionate release does cover medical transport and depending on eligibility we could approve costs for a car. Have a read through these links.
Another option if you can no longer work because of your condition have a look at temporary and permanent incapacity (this is done through your superfund).
All the best!

Yes, you may be able to access your superannuation early due to your cancer diagnosis and financial hardship. This could potentially help you buy a car and cover living expenses. You should contact your superannuation fund to discuss your options for early release of funds.
