Hi

My daughter 13 years old needs to send in a non lodgement advice form. Can I sign this on her behalf as her father?

Thanks

Hey @Swingingpig39,

Sorry, slightly distracted by images of a pig happily swinging in a playground…

Parents and guardians can sign tax documents on behalf of minors between the ages of 13-15yrs. Children in this age group can also sign the forms themselves if they want to.

She'll need to sign her own declarations once she turns 16, unless a disability requires someone else to act on her behalf.
