Social Committee in retirement village. 24 yrs ago "someone" applied for an ABN. Today 2024 noone knows who that person was. Probably deceased by now. Tax office won't speak to anyone but the "Authorised" person. How do we cancel the ABN? We are not for profit and no need for an ABN.

Hi @Sheila49

To cancel the ABN, you will need to complete a form and attach a copy of the meeting minutes showing the appointment of an authorised person.

Without this, we are unable to cancel the ABN.
