For some reason there is a HECS debt against my name ! Exactly $10,000.00
I am a tradesman who has never been to university & wouldn't even qualify if I tried.
For some reason the HECS people won't admit their error & the university that is located 2000kms away won't tell the truth.
Now I have to pay a debt against a loan I never had on a course of study that doesn't exist ?
Does anyone have any suggestions PLEASE

Just to clarify - have you completed a trade certificate or qualification using fee help like a trade support loan or Australian apprentice support loan?
HECS debts don't only just come from university fees. They can come from all types of study and training loans.
If you still believe the debt is incorrect, I suggest to reach out to our individuals team so we can take a closer look at your account. Depending on what we find, you may need to dispute the loan fees.
