Processed 7th with effective date 12th July , I’ve seen a few other people having the same issue and wondered if it got fixed for anyone yet? Still showing the money in CR and been balancing accounts for like a week
What date did you lodge? It should finalise after 12 business days and then you’d need to allow time for any refunds to transfer.
If you lodged the 1st July, we haven’t quite got to 12 business days yet so your return would still just be processing. I wouldn’t worry about there being any issues yet. You’ll probably see something in the next few days.

I am in the same boat, my effective date is still showing as the 12th of July, processed date is the 7th of July. still in balancing account😣 WHAT IS GOING ON!! I’m worried because a lot of people have had theirs fixed…. Mine still seems to be stuck. @jg5678

@TaxFree unfortunately it seems as though there are a lot of people experience said issue, regardless of the date lodged. I have spoken to multiple people on reddit as well as this thread and the ATO Facebook page…. Some individuals have noticed that their effective date has now changed to the 17th of July and their funds have been moved to their banks however I know their are a fair few people whose effective date is STILL the 12th of July and their accounts are still sitting in balancing hence why so many people are commenting/asking the same thing that I am. I lodged on the 3rd, however I know people that lodged on the 1st and they have their refund… kinda fair enough that people are confused and want clarity.
Mines still balancing as well. Mt Tax accountant said your effective date doesn’t mean anything unless you have an EFT (which is your refund) they said the generic 14-30 days wait and it’s balancing is normal
