Hi, I was hoping someone could give me some advice.
I'm currently on a 408 COVID visa following on from a 417 working holiday visa.
I'm currently preparing my tax return.
I've been in the same job role for 12 months and I'm planning to stay and make a life in Australia. I therefore consider myself an Australian Resident for Tax Purposes.
I have got a reciprocal health care visitor Medicare card and I know that the UK and Australia have a reciprocal health agreement.
Do I claim a Medicare levy exemption as I am still a foreign resident?
If so, would I claim the two or half level claim and for how many days?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
