I live in Victoria, where you can now receive a 10c refund for each bottle, can etc. that you recycle through the container deposit scheme. I have been recycling the containers for drinks consumed by myself and other members of my household; consequently, I received a few dollars this past financial year from this.
Is is considered taxable income that needs to be declared on my tax return? If so, how does one declare this?
