Yes, if the clothing is a compulsory uniform enforced by your employer.
There are certain expenses you can claim around clothing, laundry and dry-cleaning expenses.

You can only claim deductions against some sort of income. What income are you earning that is relevant to your Tafe course?
So it is for my wife - she works 3 days a week as a beauty therapist- she currently doing a Diploma of beauty therapy for another 3 days to be able to gain a formal recognition in that. For herctraining she requires to wear a uniform - it is this I was wondering if she can claim the laundry expenses
