I withdrew funds from my super on compassionate grounds for dental work but have decided not to proceed with part of it so will have funds left over.

What do I need to do with the funds left over, do I need to contact my super to transfer the funds back in?

Thanks

Hi Cbar34,

It's totally up to you if you wish to put the funds back into your super.

You've already paid the necessary tax on withdrawal. Recontributing the money back into your super account will be a tax-free non-concessional contribution.
