I run a small house and pet sitting business and have brought a car for this business to allow me to get to the places and collect equipment. Can I write off this car as a tax write off or can I calm a deduction on what I paid for it.

Normally as a business you would depreciate the motor vehicle asset over several years. You can also take a look at claiming deductions for motor vehicles depending on how you have utilised the vehicle.
