If we are both asking Remserv to 'top up' our Super contributions up to the $27.5K cap (now up to $30K) - and I assume that is all coming out of our PRE-TAX amount, do we both list these concessional contributions on each others tax returns (in the section quoted in the title)?

I tried entering $0 and $30K and it did NOT change my calculated tax assessment.

Hi @Max_D,

I agree the wording is confusing. Its labelled as reportable employer super contributions based on who the recipient is of the income statement.

Check the info in our myTax 2024 spouse details. Specifically, under the heading 'Your spouse reportable superannuation contributions'. This explains what you need to include in this section for your spouse.

Feel free to come back if you have more questions!

It's confusing as your income statement says REPORTABLE EMPLOYER SUPER CONTRIBUTION, but the income tax form asks for Spouse reportable super contribution.

Are these figures different, or are you meant to calculate what your spouse's personal concessional super contributions are?

I'm aware it doesn't appear to make ANY difference on the calculation of your tax return.
