Hi, I did not pay tax deductions on my Job Seeker payments in financial year 2023-2024. My Job Seeker payments were around $7,000 and they are pre-filled in my tax return details from ATO. I started working and my income was around $21,000. Will my tax return be used to pay the tax which I owe for the Job Seeker payments? If so, will this happen automatically when I lodge my tax return on do I need to take any futher action? Thank you for your answer.
