I had to replace the indoor and outdoor units of ducted air conditioning system for rental property because they were outdated & uneconomical & faulty. The total cost replacing the faulty units with brand new and labour was $ 9,500 paid to a licensed installer. I am interested what rate of depreciation can be applied on prime cost for straight line method.
