hi i am applying for 407 visa, previous i had 408 and i was paying 15% of tax from every dollar earn.


with 407 should be the same ?

The tax rate for the 407 visa can vary based on your residency status for tax purposes.

  • If you're considered a non-resident for tax purposes = be taxed at 32.5% on every dollar earned up to $120,0002.
  • If you're a resident for tax purposes, the tax rates will be different and may include tax-free thresholds and progressive rates. See here for tax tables.
