I rent out rooms to tenants (housemates) in the house where I myself also live. So if I continue to rent out rooms to them for over 6 years, then I will be liable to pay capital gains tax when I sell my house sometime down the road.

My question is, if I do not claim any rental related expenses at all during the time I rent out my rooms, am I still liable to pay capital gains tax when selling the house?
