Hi, me and my wife is doing tax return for 2023-2024 and try to calculate the Medical Levy surcharge.

Bases on what we read on internet, with a combine income of 98,000 (below the threshold of 186,000), our medical levy surcharge will be 0%.

But when we try the Meducare Levy Calculator, it still show us we need to pay 1,954.00 AUD (2% of combined income).

Why is that? Is the Calculator is incorrect? or we mis-understand the Medical Levy surcharge threshold?

Many Thanks
