Hi,

I'm the director of a small startup (just 2 employees), but we have around 120 independent contractors that we may need to pay superannuation for.

I've registered to use the free government small business clearing house, but it states it's limited to 19 employees. Given our company only has 2 employees, am I still able to use it to pay our 100+ independent contractors?

If not, does anyone know how I would actually go about paying their super in a sensible manor? I'm using Xero for my accounting software.

Thanks for you help!

Howdy @bajs1984,

SBSCH is designed for paying superannuation for employees.

Since you’re using Xero. Maybe look into:

  • the set up and
  • pay superannuation contributions

Functions for both employees and eligible contractors.
