I have a credit on my income tax account.
I have requested the credit be refunded to my financial institute, and when I call the ATO, I am advised the ATO cannot action my request.
Who can I contact to request a refund of my credit?
The helpline is of no assistance.

Without being able to see your tax account from here, it's hard to say why your refund request can't be done at the moment.
There are a few reasons why this might happen. For example, if we've put extra security measures on your account. Doing this stops changes from being made or refunds from being sent, until we feel the measures aren't needed anymore. This is just one example though.
Calling us is the best way so you can potentially get an answer on what's happening. Otherwise you could use a registered tax agent who can contact us on your behalf through their agent portal.
