LOss transfer from old company (deregisterd company) to a new company

Continuity of same ownership (Same (single) Shareholder for both companies)) and same business (same trading activity) tests are meet. That is about losses carried forward in the same company. Can I transfer the existing losses from the old company to the new company? No - the old company is gone, so the losses are gone as well. Cannot group 2 companies if one of them has been deregistered.
