I have purchased a 7 x 5 box trailer and want to know what depreciation rate to use. I see on the ATO website that the life is 10 years?

Well, that depends.
For a 10-year effective life the diminishing value depreciation rate would be 20% and the prime cost rate would be 10%.
You need to work out which method you'll be using. 😎
