Hello,

I'm currently a PR holder living and working in the UAE (currently non-resident for tax purposes) as I still haven't fully moved to Australia and I don't have a TFN number yet. I will be visiting Australia for a short period next year (3-4 months) as we are planning to have our baby delivered in Melbourne.

My employer in the UAE is fine with me working remotely during this period. However, I would like to know if there are any tax implications on myself or my employer since I will be working remotely in Australia and delivering work to UAE clients. I work in the IT business, so remote work is common. The income I earn will still be deposited to my bank account in UAE.

Appreciate your help!
